Additional Information

  • Adult Recitals are for post-high school students, South Bay Branch teachers and are informal.

  • Ensembles are highly encouraged.

  • Each teacher may have up to four entries (soloists and/or ensembles), and the total performance time allowed for the combined entries is 15 minutes.

  • A piece may not exceed 8 minutes.

  • Instrumentalists and vocalists should use their own accompanists. They may prefer to use pre recorded accompaniment or perform without accompaniment.

  • Adult student accompanists (who are students of South Bay Branch members) may accompany a non-member adult student as long as the member is the coach of the ensemble and the non-member adult student pays the fee as well as submits the Application Form (with Performer Consent, Waiver of Liability, and Indemnity Agreement).

  • Memorization is optional for all disciplines.
